"Believers in Love is a powerfully creative work, with prose that
sings like poetry. Beautifully told and evocatively rendered,
Believers in Love comes very highly recommended."

Giving Meaning

Sarah sat at the side of the road, with what looked like the
contents of her pockets spread out on a towel before her.
"What are you doing?" her father asked.
"I'm fishing for trout," the girl told him.
The father looked amused, but said nothing, and determined
to watch how the game proceeded.
Soon a passer-by stopped, and asked Sarah the same
question.
"I'm writing a book." she responded.
Each person who stopped to ask, and the father counted
fifteen in about ten minutes, was given a different answer.
"How many trout have you caught?" he finally asked.
"About fifteen in the last ten minutes," the girl answered.

"Believers in Love, the third offering by quirky Australian novelist,
Alan Clay, is about love, laughter and life. This is not just a story;
it is an exploration of emotion and philosophy. A novel of journey
and self-discovery." www.aussiereviews.com

Order the paperback, or download the eBook, US$6.95, from online
stores like www.amazon.com or from bookshops throughout America,
Canada, England, Australia, and New Zealand.

MimoClan from Cuba, Heather and Darren Stevenson from the USA,
Luis Oliva, Sorely Muentes, Iván Olmo and his physical theater

"Hi alan. Standstill theatre here in Italy Pennabilli. The festival has just
started and as usual everyone is in love with this sleepy but beautiful
town with such friendly people and wonderful vibe. The second day
starts tonight and winds up to the weekend when most of the crowds
will be here. Lots of interesting artists from europe as well as us few
internationals. It is nice to be remebered by name from three years
ago. The festival has grown with many more acts and big crowds
expected for the weekend. I just love this place and just being here
reminds me how good life really is. Check the website for full details
of the festival." Best regards Blake Barratt, Standstill Theatre,
